NOORDERSOFT

NoorderSoft in Amsterdam would like to find out about possible interested parties for the succession of the two owners. NoorderSoft has had steadily growing revenues with PC-Navigo since 1990, and the last four years the growth can even be called spectacular: a 35 to 50 percent growth has been realised since 2003. There are no successors for the two owners who manage the company, so the time has come to try and make arrangements for a continuation of the activities for the years after 2010.

The product PC-Navigo consists of various parts, that all require a specific expertise:

  1. the development and programming of the software (written in Delphi and/or C++);
  2. the maintenance and extension of waterway data (requiring knowledge of the wet infrastructure);
  3. the maintenance and extension of River Information Services and web services around PC-Navigo;
  4. the marketing and sales.

PC-Navigo results in ample revenues to employ the necessary experts and still make a profit. The product is unique, free of any third party rights, and its market potential is far from exhausted (neither in commercial shipping nor in leisure boating). In order to secure the possible profit on the longer term, we are curious after possibly interested parties in one of the following options:

If neither of these options appear feasible, we consider to make PC-Navigo available as freeware between 2010 and 2015 in order to ensure the services and functions to the end users. It goes without saying that this option would result in a rather big loss of revenues of PC-Navigo.

Seriously interested parties are kindly invited to get in touch with us.
