16th of January 2012 - A week before the panned appearance, the newest version, PC-Navigo 2012, is available! Due to the large number of pre-orders, delivery may take a little longer than usual during the next days.
1oth of November 2011 - The newest version of PC-Navigo, version 2012, will appear on the 23rd of January. Anybody who orders the software before this date will receive the current version first, and a free update as soon as version 2012 is available.
1st of October 2011 - Traditionnally, all new buyers who purchased a license of a PC-Navigo 2011 after the 1st of October will receive the update to the 2012 version FREE OF CHARGES. The new 2012 version will appear in January.
23rd of September 2011 - NoorderSoft's offices are MOBILE until the end of this year. Click HERE to learn more.
19th of September 2011 - There is a new patch available for PC-Navigo 2011. If the version number (to be found under HELP and INFO) of your current version ends with a cipher lower than .4, it's worthwhile to download and install the bug repair and improvement patch. See also the help desk page .
21 st of August 2011 - The famous ANWB navigation charts of Holland, that cover most of the inland waterways in the country, have been modified by NoorderSoft so that they can be used in the new ANWB media. These modifications have made them suitable to be used in PC-Navigo too! In order to learn more about the needs and wishes of our users, we currently offer a "Bêta" (=trial) version of this series at a very reduced price of 95 Euros. See also the charts order form .
1st of July 2011 - New optional additions to PC-Navigo have come available: a chart series of North Sea ENC and the famous "1800-Series" , both published by the Dutch Hydrographic Office; a marina database of the ANWB, containing all Dutch marinas and leisure boating facilities; and a similar database of French Marinas and facilities. More options are due to follow.
17th of May 2011 - Without anybody noticing it, the spectacular sales of PC-Navigo during the last months have brought the number of licenses in use ABOVE 12.000! Today, 12.150 licensed users get their navigation infor,ation from PC-Navigo!
21st of March 2011 - A new PATCH is available, to cope with the latest bug repairs and corrections (amongst which the delay when usin AIS in larger ports). One can download it from our help desk page.
2nd of February 2011 - The German waterway authority has decided to distribute their ENC charts of the German inland waterways FREE OF CHARGE as off February the 1st! NoorderSoft has decided to include this magnificent chart coverage in the standard version of PC-Navigo (the Europe or Germany versions). The charts will be pre-installed. Those who already received an earlier 2011 version of PC-Navigo now have access to a free download of the additional charts on our web site.
21 st of January 2011 - We're up and running again! Version 2011 of PC-Navigo is available ! .
15th of January 2011 - PC-Navigo will contain an almost complete chart coverage of Western Europe: almost ALL waterways in Holland, Belgium, Luxemburg, France, Switzerland, Germany, Tchechia and Austria are included in the basic software, and those of the Balcan countries can be downloaded free of charge.
Only certain smaller and isolated waterways remain to be done, like the Brittany canals, the Adour and the Sèvre rivers in France and the Peene, Ücker and Geeste in Germany. Version 2011 will appear in a few weeks..
2nd of January 2011 - Version 2011 of PC-Navigo will appear by the end of this month. To maintain the same service to our customers, we have reached an agreement with our major reseller in Europe, WATERSPORTALMANAK.NL, who will provide both the sales services and the customer help desk services to users in Holland, Belgium and Germany; these services will be provided from Groningen; the Netherlands. Customers in France and Brittain will have the choice to either contact Groningen or NoorderSoft in Ray-sur-Saône, as usual.
